Short Finger 와 Stann Lumo의 컴필레이션 앨범 ‘In to the B’는 함께 떠난 베를린 여행을 통해 얻은 감정, 영감, 열망의 음악적 결과물이다. 서로 다른 이 둘은 이번 여행을 통해 말로 설명할 수 없는 동일한 무언가를 느끼고 공감하고 추구하고 그것을 맹신하게 되었으며 그것은 분명히 이 여행 이전에는 둘에게 없던 것이었다. 아직도 무엇이라 정의할 수 없는 그것은 어떠한 형태적 논리적 경계없이 둘에게 다가왔으며 그것은 청각적으로도, 외적으로도, 신념적으로도 그 어느곳에도 대입할 수 있는 둘만의 어떤 기준이 되었다. 둘은 그것을 B라고 표현하기 시작했다.

Short Finger와 Stann Lumo는 이 여행의 감정과 기억을 B의 음악적 기준으로 풀어내어 각각 2곡씩 총 4곡이 수록된 EP를 발매했다. 플로어에서 경험한 그곳의 장엄함과 환상, 그리고 그 시스템에 어울리는 사운드를 구현하고자 했으며 점진적인 빌드업과 끊이지 않는 흐름의 레이아웃이 특징이다.

둘은 모두 클럽 Faust 의 레지던트 디제이로 활동하며, 꾸준한 무대 경험을 통해 독보적인 음악적 색채를 보유하고 있으며 프로듀싱 분야에서도 꾸준한 활동으로 아티스트로써의 음악적 역량을 높이고 있다. 이번 In to the B 릴리즈를 기점으로 둘의 음악적 행보에 이전보다 훨씬 명확한 기준이 생겼을거라 확신하며 과연 이 둘에게 B는 어떤 의미일지 수록곡을 들으며 함께 찾아갈 수 있기를 바란다.

The compilation EP ‘In to the B’ by Short Finger and Stann Lumo is the musical result of the emotions, inspirations, and desires they gained through a trip they took together in Berlin. Despite being different individuals, they both felt and empathized with an indescribable something during the trip and became devoted to pursuing it, which was undoubtedly absent in them before the journey. The something that still cannot be defined came to them without any logical or formal boundaries, and it became a unique standard for them that can be applied to any auditory, external, or ideological aspect. They began to call it "B".

Short Finger and Stann Lumo release an EP that contains four tracks, with each of them contributing two tracks, based on the emotions and memories of their trip, which they translated into B's musical standards. They aimed to create a sound that matches the grandeur and fantasy of the dance floor where they experienced, and that suits the system, featuring a gradual buildup and a continuous flow in the layout of the tracks.

Both of them have a distinct musical style due to their consistent stage experiences as resident DJs at Faust, and they have been actively improving their musical abilities as artists in the producing field. With the release of ‘In to the B’, they are expected to have a clearer musical standard than before. Hope listeners can discover together what B means to them by listening every tracks.
